Air Jordan XIII Low Retro "All Whites"

Drop it low and white it out

What's good shoeheads? Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, but I know your shoe hunger isn't satisfied until you read one of my posts! Taking it back a few years, introducing to you the Air Jordan XII Low Retro "All Whites"! Picked these bad boys up in 2005, and they are just clean as a whistle. These lows are not as popular as its mid-top brothers, but I definitely love the all-white version. Sporting midnight blue accents with carolina blue bottoms, these kicks definitely get folks looking like "When did he get those, I haven't seen those on Eastbay?" haha. I love the shape of the XIII's, and hopefully will get my hands on a few more pairs someday, but for now these will hold it down for me! These are a great addition to my collection, and everyone's got to have a pair of all-white Jordans in their arsenal for the right occasion. Please check out my pics below and let me know what you think!

White as snow.

Bringing it hard for next week!

Hey everybody, I just wanted to thank everyone for always coming and checking out my blog. Will have some great Jordan heat next week, so please come back to see the next edition of My Life through Pics & Kicks. To all my "J-walkers" out there, keep it clean and classy. Peace!

No Post this week :(

Hi fellow shoeheads! Unfortunately I wasn't able to do a post this week, but I was able to attend the 49ers game and watch us pound RG3 and the Redskins! Definitely don't look that sharp on offense, but hey a win's a win! Tune-in next week for another shoe post! Thanks again and keep on coming back! Let's go Niners!

Under Armour ClutchFit Drive "Steph Currys"

Reppin' the bay, my team.

What's good y'all? Introducing to you the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive "Steph Currys"! Now I know what you're thinking..."Kyle you're straying away from Nike/Jordan what is going on?!?!" Now we all know I'm from the bay, and everyone knows Steph Curry is the king of basketball here. When I saw these drop, I spent a while trying to find them online since I was too late after they were released. One night, I stroll into the Footlocker House of Hoops, and there they are sitting in a glass case in the middle of the store! I asked the clerk and they got them in stock! I put'em on my feet and I'm just loving the colorway. The shoes are eerily similar to the Nike Hyperdunk series, except the sides of the shoe feel more flexible for quick movements on the court. They fit like a dream, and they lace up high on your ankles for stability. Although I'm not gonna ball in them, they definitely feel like they'd have quick response time, monster grip on the court, and of course having folks ooze over them when I fly by haha. I'm always a sucker for high-tops, and these are going to be my go-to pair when I attend more games this season with my Klay jersey on! Don't just take my word for it, check out the hot pics below.

Beautiful side profile.

Look at the fine detail etched into the shoes.

Diggin' the high tongues!

Introducing the Human Torch, Steph Curry

To all of you who are not from the bay, Steph Curry is becoming a superstar in the NBA before our very eyes. With out of this world handles, one of the deadliest three point shots, and possibly one of the most fundamentally sound players in the game, Steph can no longer fly under the radar anymore. Career averaging 20+ pts, 6.7 assists, 1.7 steals, 89.8% FT, and 43.8% from beyond the arc, his numbers speak for themselves. If you've never seen him play, it's like watching poetry in motion. He can not only beat his defender off the dribble, but his array of moves allows him to get anywhere on the court, not to mention his deadly three point shooting where he holds the single-season record at 272. He is also playfully known as part of a duo called the Splash Brothers with Klay Thompson, who are both known to be lights-out three point shooters (hence splashing threes on your head). Last year he was a Western All-star starter, and a Gold medal winner at the FIBA championship earlier this summer. His talent and love for the game has propelled the Warriors to one of the best starts in years, and definitely looking like a contender for the Western Conference Finals. Please take a look at the pics below of Steph shakin n' bakin in the new ClutchFit Drives!

Nike 2013 Hyperdunks

Ball Til you Fall!

What's going on y'all? Apologies for the no-post last week, but I'm back and bringing a fresh pair with me. Introducing the Nike 2013 Hyperdunks! Now you all know I'm a huge fan of this series as you can tell from my original Hyperdunks post, and I needed something new on the court so I bought these with a huge smile on my face. Like the original Hyperdunks, this shoe is the most complete shoe I've ever played in. Some minor improvements such as a wider mesh tongue, the introduction of lighter materials in order make quick movements on the court, and the fantastic grip makes these shoes hard to beat. I've never had an issue on the court with these, and they give me 100% confidence on the court to play my game. Not to mention, the fire red looks hot when I'm draining 3's and playing low-post D.
Fantastic grip on the court.

My fire reds.

The expanded mesh helps keep your feet cool during battle.

Performing on the biggest stage

You don't have to my word for it on the performance on these shoes, you can ask any one of these NBA players below that have been spotted rocking these kicks. Some of the best in the NBA wore the 2013 Hyperdunks, and if they trust their performance in these, I can most definitely do the same!
Sharpshooter AKA the "70 Million Dollar Man" Klay Thompson lining up a 3.
Klay doing work on the OKC Thunder.
Pau Gasol driving against the Warriors in probably the cleanest PE's (Player Editions) I've seen for the 2013 Hyperdunks.
Paul George bringing down the house in his 2013 Hyperdunks.
Uncle Drew AKA Kyrie Irving shaking n' baking in his PE 2013 Hyperdunks.

Carlos Boozer posing, this is also his defensive pose LOL.
