Air Jordan XIII Retro Premium "Reflective Silver" aka "3M"

It takes time for love to grow

What's going on my fellow shoeheads? I know it's been a while, and I have a fresh pair for you to feast your eyes on! Introducing to you the Air Jordan XIII Retro Premium "Reflective Silver" aka "3M". Now I have to say, I bought these on a whim (I know that's bad) but I held onto them for a few months and they started to grow on me. Although it's not an OG colorway, I've grown to love their uniqueness. They are definitely a lifestyle colorway, as the Jordan brand is trying to sell their products to the casual customer. Now I already own a pair of XIII's (see my XIII's Low "All Whites"), but these are my first regular-cut XIII's. These are probably one of the most comfortable Air Jordans I've ever owned. The quilted upper is soft and cushy around the ankle and the black leather tongue feels great on top. Most of the shoe is covered in this reflective 3M-like material, sweet black suede outlines the shoe, and infrared accents make this shoe a show-stopper on the streets. Can't forget the hologram "23" with the Jumpman logo on the back! Check out the pics below!

Cleaner than my car.

Silver and black always match.

Suede wrapping up the back of these shoes.

Black leather with infrared Jumpman accents.

Coolest part of the shoe.

You can see the two tones of the silver in the sunlight in this pic.

A Classic always come through at the end

The 1997-98 season would be the last time we would see Michael win a championship. His last ring in his second three-peat, Michael was nothing short of amazing. Averaging 28.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists at the age of 34, he more than earned his last ring with the Bulls. Eventually winning the regular season MVP, All-Star MVP, and Finals MVP during that season, Michael definitely made many memories in this pair. Although everyone remembers that season for the "Last Shot" where he wore the famous (see my post on the XIV's), Michael mostly played that season in the XIII's. Whether he was tearing players up in the regular season, or going head-to-head with Kobe during the all-star game, Michael did "his dirty work" in the XIII's. Probably one of the most recognized pair in the line, these should be remembered by not only their looks, but what Michael was able to accomplish in them. Please allow me to take you down memory lane with the XIII's.

Almost game time. Sporting the "Black Toes".

Lace'em up tight Mike!

After the movie He Got Game was released, the "Black Toes" colorway was now known as the "He Got Game" colorway.

Michael helping his son Marcus lace up his own pair of "He Got Game" colorway.

Time to get to work.

Smashing on the Nets in the Red/White colorway.

Facing off against Kobe in the 1998 All-Star game donning the "Playoffs" colorway.

Let me show you how it's done, youngsta.

Pound it brotha.

Making Chris Mullins look mighty old right here haha.

Smile for the cameras guys!

Michael sporting the "Breds" while contemplating where he's going to store his sixth ring.

Time to show Reggie what the "Black Jesus" can do.

Fadeaway on your head. Buckets.

Not on my watch, get that ish outta here!

Lock it down Michael.

Time standing still as Michael soars in for two.

Getting buckets.
